Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Tenfold Praise
By Jennifer Kane
.
Praise Him in every place,
In the stillness, in the storm.
Praise Him with music and song,
A melody rising from the soul.
Praise Him with your actions,
Let love be your offering.
Praise Him in prayer,
In whispers and in cries.
Praise Him through your creativity,
The work of your hands declaring His glory.
Praise Him with your body,
A living sacrifice, holy and pleasing.
Praise Him with your words,
Truths that uplift and edify.
Praise Him with your mind,
Dwelling on what is good and pure.
Praise Him always,
In the morning, at night, and all in between.
Praise Him with your whole life,
A symphony of devotion, tenfold and eternal.

Scripture: Psalm 150
Psalm 150 serves as a grand finale to the Book of Psalms, echoing a passionate call for all creation to praise the LORD. Unlike other psalms, it does not contain lament, instruction, or even a specific context. It is pure, unrestrained worship—a prophetic glimpse of eternal praise when all creation joins in harmony to glorify God.
“Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!”
Worship is not confined to one place. God’s sanctuary is no longer limited to a temple in Jerusalem. In Christ, His sanctuary resides in heaven (Hebrews 8:1-2), among His people (2 Corinthians 6:16), and even within each believer (1 Corinthians 3:16). Wherever we are, the heavens above us and the Spirit within us invite us to lift our voices in praise.
“Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!”
God’s mighty acts, from creation to redemption, reveal His power and love. The resurrection of Jesus Christ stands as the ultimate act of power and grace. But beyond His acts is His nature—His excellent greatness that surpasses all understanding. We praise God not only for what He has done but for who He is: holy, faithful, and sovereign.
“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet… lute and harp… timbrel and dance… loud cymbals!”
Worship involves every expression of joy and gratitude. The psalmist mentions instruments from every group: brass, string, percussion, and wind, symbolizing a universal call to praise. Whether through music, art, or simply heartfelt words, our creative expressions glorify the Creator. Let nothing hold back your worship—whether loud and celebratory or quiet and contemplative.
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!”
Breath is God’s gift, a sign of life. Every breath we take is an opportunity to return thanks and worship to the One who gave it. Psalm 150 reminds us that worship is not just for the few or the gifted—it is for everyone, everywhere. Revelation 5:13 assures us that one day all creation will sing in unison: “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne.”
Begin and end your day with a moment of praise. Thank God for who He is and for His blessings in your life. Use your talents—whether in music, writing, art, or another form—to worship God. Consider how your unique gifts can glorify Him. Each time you feel the rhythm of your breath, let it remind you to lift your heart in gratitude and adoration. Use the simplest prayer: “Praise the LORD!”
Take a walk outdoors today and observe the beauty of creation—the sky, the trees, the rhythm of life around you. Reflect on how all creation praises its Creator. As you breathe in the air He provides, let your heart overflow with praise, joining the eternal chorus and say it out loud: “Praise the LORD!”

Prayer:
Father God, my Lord and creator, You are worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Your mighty acts and Your excellent greatness call me to worship You with every breath. Help me to live a life of constant praise, unashamed and full of joy. Holy Spirit please teach me to use all that I am and all that I have to glorify You. May everything that has breath, including my own, declare this: Praise the LORD! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
