For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

Travels With God
By Jennifer Kane
One road leads to dry rivers,
One road climbs through pine,
My road winds through deserts,
Led by God’s hand divine.
One road skirts the mountains,
And it glows in sunset’s hue;
My road stretches endless,
Beneath skies painted true.
He leads me, lures me, calls me
Through sands both vast and bare;
A road of grace and purpose,
With Him beyond compare.
A dry road shimmering, dancing,
With faith to light my eyes,
A steadfast hope unshaken,
While desert winds arise.
My road calls me, lures me,
With God to guide each mile;
Though most roads loop to comfort,
I trust His perfect trial.
To chase His holy wisdom
Through mesas, plains, and streams,
In search of that pure beauty
Fulfilled beyond my dreams.

Scriptures: Proverbs 3:6-11
Moving to a new place is more than packing boxes and hitting the road; it’s a step of faith into the unknown. I’m experiencing this firsthand as I transition from Arizona to Texas, leaving behind the familiar for the new and uncertain.
Proverbs 3:6-11 reminds us that God’s direction is always trustworthy. When we acknowledge Him in every part of our journey—our plans, fears, and decisions—He promises to make our paths straight. While I don’t know every detail of what lies ahead, I know God has already gone before me, preparing the way.
This move isn’t just a physical relocation; it’s a spiritual journey of learning to lean on Him more deeply. God calls us to honor Him with everything we have, even when life feels unsettled. Whether it’s a new home, new opportunities, or even challenges, each part of this transition can be an offering of trust and gratitude to Him.
Acknowledge God in your daily transitions. Like this move, each life change is an opportunity to dedicate our plans to Him. Start each day with prayer, asking Him to guide your steps. I will seek His wisdom for the road ahead. In decisions about work, community, or worship, I will remember to lean on His understanding rather than my own, so should you. Moving is a big reminder that God provides in every season. Look for His blessings along the way, whether big or small, as evidence of His care.
If you’ve ever moved or stepped into a new season of life, reflect on how God has carried you through those transitions. Write down a few specific ways He has provided, directed, or comforted you, and share them with someone who may need encouragement in their own journey.

Father, as I leave Arizona and step into this new chapter in Texas, I place my trust in You. I ask You to direct not only my steps but the hearts of those I encounter along the way. Strengthen me with Your promises, and help me honor You in this transition. Thank You for the blessings I’ve seen and those yet to come. May this move be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a reminder to trust in You always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
