Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The Way Home
By Jennifer Kane
.
Everyone has experienced failing love,
the hollow ache, the breaking trust,
the longing for something unshakable, eternal.
We desire unfailing love,
the kind that holds through every storm.
And God, in His mercy, provides.
Can’t spell gospel without “go,”
a call to step beyond what is comfortable,
to walk where the Spirit leads.
Home is more than a destination;
it is companionship and support,
a journey where hearts are bound together.
Home means walking along, side by side,
sharing the weight of burdens,
lifting one another when knees grow weak.
Home means the search for truth,
the journey of finding the Way Home—
a road paved in love and connection,
where the light of His Word shines ahead.
Home is not just where I rest my head;
it is a map of lives intertwined.
With hands held fast, when one stumbles,
another reaches out to guide.
In love and grace, our souls unite,
woven together by something greater,
a bond that cannot be severed.
“Go and make disciples,” He said—
not as strangers, but as companions,
walking together on this sacred road.
Through hills of doubt and valleys of fear,
we press on, sharing His unfailing love.
In the chart of this course, we find our purpose,
our hearts made whole as we carry His name.
Through truth and light, the way is shown—
a beacon in the dark, steady and true.
Each step leads closer,
each mile reveals more of His grace.
I find the path; I find my home—
not in walls or places, but in His presence.
And surely, He is with me always,
in the silence, in the storm,
in the laughter, in the tears.
He walks beside me, the light on the road,
the warmth in my soul,
leading me ever onward,
to the home I was made for.

Scripture: Matthew 28:16-20
The Great Commission is more than a command; it is an invitation to journey with Jesus, sharing His unfailing love with the world. As I reflect on Matthew 28:16-20, I’m reminded that the call to “go” is not about perfection or confidence but about trust in His authority and presence.
Jesus met the disciples on a mountain in Galilee, where they worshiped Him—even as some doubted. This detail is both humbling and encouraging. Their worship wasn’t born out of perfect faith but out of a willingness to step forward despite their hesitation.
How often do we, too, wrestle with doubt? Like the disciples, we are called to “go” with faith, trusting that Jesus sees beyond our uncertainty to the potential He has placed within us.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me,” Jesus declared. This authority is the foundation of our mission. It is not our strength or skill that empowers us, but His sovereignty over all things. In moments of fear or inadequacy, I remember that the One who holds all authority walks beside me, guiding each step.
The command to “go” is an active, intentional call. Disciple-making is not about grand gestures or flawless words—it’s about sharing Jesus’ love in the ordinary moments of life. It’s about walking alongside others, pointing them toward the light of His truth.
Jesus’ promise, “I am with you always,” is the heart of His commission. His presence transforms fear into faith and doubt into determination. Wherever we go—whether into the unknown or the familiar—He is there, a steady guide and source of strength.
As I step into new seasons, I am reminded that “home” is not a place but a journey with Jesus and His people. We walk this road together, bound by love and guided by His Word.
How can you worship Jesus today, even if doubts linger in your heart? In what areas of your life do you need to surrender to Jesus’ authority and trust His sovereignty? How can you intentionally “go” and share His love in your current season?

My father God, thank You for calling me into Your mission and equipping me with Your authority and presence. I confess my doubts and uncertainties, but I choose to worship You, trusting in Your power. Help me to go and make disciples, sharing Your love and truth in the places You’ve called me. Remind me daily that You are with me always, giving me courage, protection, and peace. In Your name I thank you Jesus, Amen.
