Forever, Lord, Your truth remains,
unmoved by time, untouched by decay.
The sun may rise and fade,
kingdoms may crumble to dust,
but Your word stands,
a pillar in the storm,
a foundation beneath my feet.

The earth is held by Your command,
set in motion by Your voice.
Seas may surge,
mountains may bow beneath the weight of time,
but Your faithfulness does not waver.

Had I not clung to Your promise,
the shadows would have swallowed me whole.
Yet in Your statutes, I find my refuge,
in Your decrees, I find my breath.

No limit binds Your perfect way,
no end to the mercy You pour out.

Scripture: Psalms 119:89-96

In a world of constant change, uncertainty, and fleeting stability, we long for something steadfast—something unshaken by time or circumstance. These verses remind us that God’s word is that unchanging foundation. His truth stands firm in the heavens, untouched by decay or human alteration. No matter how much the world shifts around us, His promises endure.

God’s Word is eternal. Unlike the laws of men that rise and fall with kingdoms, God’s decrees are everlasting. The universe itself is upheld by His word—He spoke creation into being, and His sovereign will sustains it. When everything else is unreliable, we can place our trust in His unfailing truth.

The psalmist confesses that without delighting in God’s law, he would have perished in affliction. Life’s trials threaten to consume us, yet God’s word preserves and strengthens us. When we are weary, His promises give us hope. When we are afraid, His statutes provide wisdom and guidance. Meditating on His word lifts our eyes above our circumstances and anchors us in His steadfast love.

Human wisdom and achievements have limits, but God’s word is infinite. His commands are not restrictive burdens but pathways to true freedom and abundant life. His faithfulness extends through all generations, ensuring that His truth remains relevant and life-giving.

Cling to scripture daily. Make it a habit to read, meditate, and apply God’s word. Let it shape your thoughts, actions, and decisions.

Find stability in His promises. When you feel overwhelmed by life’s changes, remind yourself of His eternal truths. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Seek refuge in His Word. In times of trouble, turn to Scripture for comfort and guidance. Let it be your source of strength and peace.

God’s word remains unmoved by time and untouched by decay. His faithfulness does not waver, and His truth is a firm foundation. In Him, we find security, hope, and life. May we always seek His unchanging word, for it is our refuge in a world that constantly shifts.

My Father God, thank You that Your word is eternal and unchanging. In a world full of uncertainty, help me to trust in Your steadfast truth. Let Your precepts be my delight and my refuge, guiding me in every season of life. Amen.
