Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Praise to My God, My Savior, My Guide
By Jennifer Kane
O God, Your love holds me fast,
steady and sure, never failing.
You are my refuge, my strength,
always near when my heart trembles,
always reigning over my life.
You formed the heavens,
spoke the earth into being,
and still, You see me.
Your mercy flows over me,
an endless river of grace.
You hear my cries, even the silent ones,
the prayers I can’t put into words.
You answer with love,
You shield me,
You are the rock beneath my feet.
O Jesus, You took my place,
bore my sin, my shame, my sorrow.
You are the Way when I am lost,
the Truth when I question,
the Life when I feel empty.
Your blood washes me clean,
Your light breaks through my darkness.
You feed my soul,
bring peace to my restless heart.
You reign with justice and grace,
with hands scarred by love for me.
O Holy Spirit, Breath of God,
You whisper truth into my soul,
guiding me, comforting me, making me new.
You are my peace,
my fire,
my joy that overflows.
You pray for me when I have no words,
dwell within me,
shape me into holiness,
lead me in righteousness,
fill me, renew me, draw me near.
O Father, Son, and Spirit—
forever You reign, forever You love.
With every breath, with all that I am,
I lift Your name in endless praise.

Scripture: Psalms 100:1-5
Praise is more than a feeling—it is a choice, a response to the goodness of God. Psalm 100 calls us to worship with joy, reminding us who God is and why He is worthy of all praise.
The psalm begins with a universal call: “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.” Praise is not meant to be passive but active, full of joyful expression. It is not dependent on our circumstances but on the unchanging character of God. No matter what season of life we are in, there is always a reason to worship Him.
We worship God in truth, knowing that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and that we are His. We belong to Him, cherished as His people, shepherded with love and care. When we recognize this, praise will flow naturally from our hearts.
We are also called to “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.” Gratitude is the doorway to deeper worship. When we focus on His blessings—His provision, protection, and grace—we move closer to His presence. Praise shifts our focus from our struggles to our Savior, reminding us that “the Lord is good and his love endures forever.”
God’s goodness and faithfulness are not temporary; they endure “through all generations.” What He has done in the past, He will continue to do. His love never wavers, and His promises never fail.
Today, take a moment to praise God out loud. Sing a song of worship, pray with thanksgiving, or write down three ways you have seen God’s goodness in your life. Enter His presence with joy, knowing that He is worthy of all your praise.

God, my Father, You are so good, and Your love endures forever. Help me to worship You with gladness, to enter Your presence with thanksgiving, and to remember Your faithfulness in every season. Let my heart overflow with praise today and forevermore. With Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
