“Glorious Are You, O Lord”

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
— Romans 11:33-36

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
— Jude 1:24-25

Glorious Are You, O Lord
By Jennifer Kane

You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise,
The heavens declare Your majesty, and the earth resounds with Your name.
Your wisdom stretches beyond the boundaries of time,
And Your love is deeper than the oceans, higher than the skies.

Thank You, Lord, for keeping me in the shelter of Your grace,
For surrounding me with mercy, for calling me into Your embrace.
Your presence is my refuge, my joy, my song,
You lead me in Your truth, and in Your strength, I belong.

In the moments where I feel You near, let my heart rejoice,
May my lips overflow with worship, may I sing with heaven’s voice.
And in the moments when the night feels long and shadows cloud my view,
Help me trust, O faithful Savior, that Your light will guide me through.

Jesus, let my life be an offering, a melody of praise,
May my words reflect Your goodness, my hands extend Your grace.
Let my thoughts be ever steadfast, my heart undivided and true,
That in all I am and all I do, I may glorify You.

For from You, through You, and to You are all things—
You are the Author, the Sustainer, the King of kings!
Forever and ever, let Your name be adored,
To You alone, O Lord, be the glory forevermore.

Scriptures: Romans 11:33-36 and Jude 1:24-25

How often do we pause to simply stand in awe of God? Too often, we focus on our needs, our struggles, and our growth, and we forget that our lives exist for one ultimate purpose—to glorify Him.

God alone is who keeps us from stumbling and brings us into His presence. Our salvation is not something we have earned, but rather a gift from the One who holds all power and authority. Every moment of our journey, every victory over sin, every transformation in our character—it all points back to Him.

Everything originates from God, exists through His power, and finds its purpose in Him. His wisdom is beyond our understanding, His ways beyond our grasp, and His grace beyond our deserving. The only fitting response to such a God is worship—wholehearted, unashamed, overflowing praise.

There have been moments in my life where I have felt God’s presence so clearly that it was as if He had settled on and all around me. It is a feeling that is pressing, yet not crushing—like a holy weight of love and assurance. In those moments, I have never been more aware of Him, more certain of His love, or more at peace. It is a comfort that words fail to capture, a reminder that I am truly never alone.

In these moments, I am overwhelmed not by my own thoughts, but by the sheer reality of God. His presence fills every space, quiets every fear, and draws my heart into deeper love and adoration. I cannot help but worship. I cannot help but say, “To Him be the glory forever!”

In what ways has God kept you from stumbling in your faith journey?
How can you intentionally give God glory in your daily life?
What is one specific thing you can praise Him for today?

Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Your wisdom is beyond my understanding, and Your love is deeper than I can comprehend. Thank You for keeping me, for surrounding me with Your presence, and for drawing me ever closer to You. In the moments where I feel You near, let me worship You fully. And in the moments where I struggle to see, help me trust that You are always present.

Jesus, Let my life be a song of praise to You. May my words, my thoughts, and my actions glorify You in all that I do. For from You, through You, and to You are all things. To You be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
