You, Lord, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger. Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, Lord, and grant us your salvation. I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
— Psalms 85:1-13

Revive Us Again!
By Jennifer Kane
I come before you, God, with one request for my city—restore;
I make this request of what covers our sin—mercy;
I know the path that we must walk—this path of righteousness;
I long for this to reign in this land—peace;
Our only hope is in this one thing—salvation;
I trust in this—your love and in your faithfulness.
The people here will know of God’s faithfulness;
We cry, “Restore us again, O God—restore!”
Our hearts long for your salvation;
Please surround your people here in your mercy;
May your people walk in lasting peace;
May our path be marked by your righteousness.
Righteousness shines forth with your faithfulness;
Your Spirit moves, and our souls cry, “Restore!”
A river flows with justice and mercy,
And many turn to find your salvation;
Heaven’s song resounds with perfect peace;
Your kingdom comes in truth and righteousness.
Let light shine forth in paths of righteousness;
Let voices sing of never-failing faithfulness;
Let justice rise and truth be known in peace.
O God of grace, hear us now—restore;
Let broken lives be healed by your mercy;
Let weary hearts awaken to salvation.
Through trials, we cling to your salvation;
We stand in awe of steadfast faithfulness;
Your word is a lamp leading to righteousness.
O Lord, do not delay—come and restore;
Look with kindness; wrap us in mercy;
Speak to this land; fill our streets with peace.
The weary long for your eternal peace;
Our children rise to walk in salvation;
Let love abound; let hearts reflect your mercy.
A people redeemed will proclaim your faithfulness;
With lifted hands, we plead, “O Lord, restore!”
Make straight our paths in your righteousness.
Mercy and truth will meet—so will peace;
Faithfulness will spring up—we will see salvation;
Righteousness will rain down as you restore.

Key Scripture: Psalm 85
Austin, a city known for its vibrant culture and innovation, is in need of something greater than music, technology, or creativity—it needs the presence of God. In Psalm 85, the psalmist remembers God’s past mercies and longs for His restoration once again. Like Israel, we too must recognize our dependence on God’s grace to bring true transformation.
Revival is not just an emotional stirring or a temporary religious movement. It is a deep work of God that brings dead hearts to life, reignites the fire of His people, and spreads His glory throughout the land. It begins when we humble ourselves, turn from sin, and seek His face earnestly (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Austin is full of searching souls—those longing for purpose, healing, and truth. Many chase success, entertainment, or self-expression, yet their hearts remain restless. But Jesus is calling. His mercy is available. His truth can set people free.
Let us intercede for Austin:
That hearts would awaken to the reality of Jesus Christ.
That churches would be bold in love and truth.
That the Spirit would stir repentance and renewal.
That the name of Jesus would be lifted high in every community.
Psalm 85 ends with a vision of restoration: “Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land” (Psalm 85:9). Revival is not for our fame or comfort—it is for God’s glory. When He moves, righteousness and peace meet, and His presence changes everything.
Will you join in this prayer for Austin? Will you seek God’s face for a mighty outpouring of His Spirit? Revival begins when we surrender, when we hunger for Him above all else. May our hearts cry out, “Revive us again, O Lord!”
Take time today to pray over Austin. Walk through your neighborhood, downtown, or your workplace, asking God to pour out His Spirit. Share the gospel boldly and love others in Christ’s name. Revival begins with us!
