What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing Can Separate Us
By Jennifer Kane
Not height,
nor the crushing depth,
not the span of stars or
the weight of worlds unseen—
nothing
can slip between
Your hand
and mine.
No death with its cold whisper,
no life with its chaos and clamor,
no angel, no demon,
no scheme wrapped in shadow
can unwrite
what You have written in blood
and sealed in Spirit.
You—
who called me when I wandered,
who named me when I was lost,
who lifted me from the wreckage
and dressed me in grace—
You do not let go.
I am not dangling over the abyss.
I am anchored.
Bound not by law,
but by love that does not fail.
No accusation
can reach high enough
to shake the mercy
poured over me.
For I am convinced—
utterly,
completely,
eternally—
that nothing
can separate me
from the love of God
in Christ Jesus my Lord.

Scripture: Romans 8:31–39
Can a true disciple of Jesus lose their salvation?
God’s Word gives a resounding answer: No.
A disciple of Jesus isn’t simply a church-goer or someone raised in a Christian home. A disciple is someone who has fully trusted in Jesus as Savior, been baptized in His name, and received the Holy Spirit. This person is made new (2 Corinthians 5:17), redeemed by Christ’s blood (1 Peter 1:18–19), justified by faith (Romans 5:1), and promised eternal life (John 3:16). That’s not temporary—it’s eternal.
Scripture shows us that our salvation is God’s work from start to finish. Romans 8:30 tells us that those God justifies, He will glorify. Ephesians 1:13–14 says we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, guaranteeing our inheritance.
Some ask, “What about Christians who live in sin or fall away?” The Bible answers: those who walk away from Christ show they were never truly His (1 John 2:19). True disciples bear fruit—not perfection, but transformation (Matthew 7:16; Romans 7:4).
Salvation is not fragile. It does not hang by a thread of our performance. It is God’s gift—irrevocable (Romans 11:29). If we could lose it, we’d need instructions on how to get it back—but Scripture gives no such path, because it was never ours to maintain. It is Jesus who saves, Jesus who secures, and Jesus who holds us fast.
Rest today in this unshakable truth:
Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ.

Father God, Thank You for the unbreakable love You have poured out through Christ Jesus. When doubts whisper and fears rise, remind me that nothing—not my past, not my failures, not even death—can separate me from You. Seal this truth deep in my heart: I am Yours, and You hold me secure. Strengthen my faith, bear fruit in my life, and let me live each day in the joy of Your eternal promise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
