Peace in the Midst of Trouble

In the storm, a calm still flows,
Peace He leaves where trouble grows.
A gentle whisper, “Come and rest,”
In His presence, we are blessed.
When burdens heavy press our soul,
He carries them, He makes us whole.
Cast your cares upon the Lord,
In His hands, we’re safely stored.
Anxieties that weigh the heart,
To Him we give, and they depart.
He keeps us in His perfect peace,
From every fear, we find release.

Heavenly Father,
In the midst of life’s storms, we thank You for the peace that only You can give. You promised to leave us Your peace and to carry our burdens. Today, we cast all our cares, worries, and anxieties upon You, trusting that You will keep us in perfect peace. We come to You for rest, believing that in Your presence, our souls are refreshed and made whole. Help us to remain in Your peace, no matter what troubles surround us, and let Your calming presence be our strength.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
